This was an idea my friend Dan walker and I decided to try one evening. We would give "Soundtracks" of ourselves to our friends or people that would like them. So far we're each looking to do three soundtracks each. If you'd like any of the soundtracks please let me know and I will burn you a copy ASAP.
You can also find listings of my friend's Soundtracks Here
Volume 1
This Soundtrack is my collection was the songs I most frequently played
on winamp at the time I began making the first CD, I also added songs that

Volume 2
This one is different
in a couple different ways. First off, all the tracks are instrumental
on this volume. Second, for the time I'm not going to post a tracklist
because I would like people to tell me what their favorite songs on the
CD are by asking for the names of the songs. For those of you who have
a copy of this CD, you're allowed to ask me for 7 tracks names. Don't worry
a full list will be here eventually.
Volume 3
For the time being
the last soundtrack in the set. This set is songs all dedicated to my friends.
Each one for whatever reason reminds me of my friends, some for strange
reasons, others for reasons that are quite logical. A track by track explanation
can be found here after the track listing.

1) Time Warp - I Choose this track because one of the things I'll always remember about my group of friends has been the times we've done the dance to "Time Warp". It's always been the sort of thing that has been one of the group's trademarks. It was always amusing seeing the crowd at dances gather to watch us and give us our space. Because of the times we've done that, it's a song that reminds me greatly of my friends.
2) Bohemian Rhapsody - There are two reasons I chose this song. The first is because of I'll probably never forget the time my friends performed this in Select Ensemble at our last concert with Timberlane Music. This also reminds me of some of the funny car rides I've shared with my friends, and the similarities to them and the Bohemian Rhapsody scene in Wayne's World. And of course one cannot forget the trailer for Naked With Apes that was made using this song.
3) Camelot - This song just makes me think Realms, I'm not completely sure why though. Personally I believe that the last line of this track could fit our in-house Realms events very well, with the change of one word. "On Second thought let us not go to Silverthorne it is a silly place"
4) My Iron Lung - I chose this song because thanks to my friend Matt Lawrence, I was introduced to Radiohead. Because of his introduction I learned of another band that I know really enjoy. I chose My Iron Lung because it is one of our favorite songs by them
5) Sir Duke - Sir Duke made it to the list first off because it was one of the songs in marching band during my first year at Timberlane. Timberlane music helped me make some of my best friends throughout high school. This track also is there bakes of the irony in the fact that next year the chorus would sing it in one of their concerts.
6) Hulkster In Heaven - Charlie and WWE. We're supposed to play this at his funeral per his wishes =)
[I'll prolly come up with something better for this later]
7) The Good Ol' Hockey Game - This Reminds me of the times I've spent with my brother at Hockey games cheering on a team and going nuts in the process. It also reminds me of the times at football games and going nuts there cheering on the Owls.
8) I Wish I Was A Little Bit Taller - I'm still not exactly sure how it did, but somehow this became one of the group's songs that we always joke about for some reason. Probably because every so often we'd use it to tease some of the shorter people in our group. Man I love being tall.
9) Dancing All Alone - I had to choose something from DDR as it is something a bunch of have gotten into. I chose this particular one because of the story behind it. One time when a bunch of us were at Fun World in Nashua, I was playing a game of 5th mix by myself and for various reasons people left the vicinity for a moment (get more tokens, use the bathroom, going to play another game etc.) so for a brief moment, I was Dancing All Alone.
10) Duck, Word of The Day - Decided on this song because I know I need a song from FM somewhere. The guys have been some great friends in the past few years. FM may not do their stuff for profits, but they definitely do it to have fun, and it shows.
11) Here's To The Night - Not sure exactly why I chose this song. I guess the main reason is it just makes me think of the semi this year and all the other times my friends and have just hung out together. It's sort of a here as a tribute to all the times we've spent together and deep moments shared together.
12) It Wasn't Me - I know at least one person will probably hit for putting this on the CD. For those of you don't know the joke behind this, my Junior year my friends and I somehow turned "It Wasn't me" into a catch phrase. If there's was an opportunity to say it, we would. Ah good times. And no, "It Wasn't Me" =)
13) Ultra Relax - Ah Yes, the monster I unleashed. It all began when I showed my friends a parody of the Opening to the anime Kodomo no Omacha [A Child's Toy] with Evangelion characters. Since then it's been referred to many things including "Wacky Japanese Song", "The Japanese Song of Craziness" or my Personal favorite "4 and a Half Minutes of Insanity" I still don't the translation of the lyrics, and honestly I don't think I should know them it'd take away from the sublime lunacy behind it.
14) Dare To Be Stupid - This song probably best describes my friends, willing to just have fun and not caring what people might think. My friends have taught me no to worry about what everyone thinks and just to remember that life is to be enjoyed. They've also reminded me that the best person to be is yourself.
15) Viva Las Vegas - This cover was sent to me the one and only Ed "Edwin" Blair. I guess I put it on because it reminds me of car rides with my friends, always upbeat with a mix of insanity, camaraderie and laughter.
16) Little Mac's Confession - Once again a song sent to me by Ed. First off it's here as a tribute to all the video games my friends and I have played. It seems that at least once a day the topic of video games would arise in one for or another. I also put this in here as a tribute to Ed. Over the course of my Senior year, I really got to know him and learn what a neat guy he is. I think a Punch-Out song fits how I got to see Ed change during the year, he's finnally come out of his corner and has begun to take on the world.
17) Blue - This year we all seemed to really get into Cowboy Bebop, an absolutely amazing anime. I've really enjoyed the series and the discussion of its theme(s) with my friends. Bebop has an amazing soundtrack so of course I couldn't resist adding a song from it to this volume. The only hard part was deciding which song. It's a nice "What does the future hold?" song, which works well becuase it is the finale song for the series.
18) To Far Away Times - Chrono Trigger, my favorite video game. There are numerous reasons as to why I chose this song, so I'll just list a few of them. First of CT is one of, if not my absolute, favorite RPGs for any video game system no matter how many times I've played this game it's never gotten old. It has a superb story(those of you who have read a lot of my "of the moment section know I get misty eyed at one point) , great gameplay, incredible replay value, a brilliant soundtrack, Also it is the game that my friend Dave and I might as well be walking player's guides to. Somehow we both know the game like the back of our hands. Another reason is it plays a reprise of Marle's theme at the end which someday I wish to have a music box made to play it. Lastly, I chose for the last track because it is a tune that represents past events affecting wherever life will take us, I wish every friend the best of luck in everything they endeavor to do.
"As friends ride off into the sunset we may cry, we may laugh,
we may remain perfectly silent. But ultimately we know that even if we
never see them again, they are always with us, because any true friend
has helped carve us into the better person we are now, and we are better
people for having known them. All that's left to do is tell the sunset
to take care of them."
