LESSONS VIDEO GAMES  HAVE TAUGHT ME
(or Everything I needed to know about life I learned from Squaresoft)

The Following is a tribute to the days I've spent in front of a screen playing one video game or another .

If someone tells you about something that's really bad and/or powerful, chances are you'll have to deal with it later.

In dealing with women, when all else fails, the "Shut up and kiss me" apporach will get you the result you're seeking.

NEVER trust the bad guys.

Chicks dig a guy who fights state-of-the-art machinery with sword.

Messing with the future is fun!

No matter how much you damage the past YOUR existance won't be effected in the slightest.

If people make fun of someone's haircut they're a good guy, but if they have bad hair and nobody says anything they're a bad guy.

If you find a powerful weapon/spell, chances are the bad guys will either have something even better than you or use the same thing you have, only better.

The Answer is oft times right in front of you but you just don't notice it or blow it off as unimportant.

If someone tweeks out for a little while, it's probably for the better.

The weirdo generally stays a weirdo.

The bad guy everyone else says is easy to beat isn't.

Swearing chemical dependant characters are a good source of comedy.

You always learn the easy way AFTER going through the hard way.

It's perfectly fine for you to wander around questioning what you're doing, but as soon as one of your friends starts you have to stop them.

Hyponosis doesn't work when you most want/need it to.

Silence doesn't work when you most want/need it to.

Paralysis doesn't work when you most want/need it to.

The source of all your trouble stands right in front of you but you can't stop until you examine your identity ad nauseum only to realize there's little or nothing wrong with who you are.

If you go on trial, you're gonna get screwed even if you're found not guilty.

There's always one more bad guy.

When the last thing you need is a conflict, there's gonna be one.

Even if you pass them on your way, people will still arrive at places sooner than you.
